Development work for the Els Bellots industrial and service sector in Terrassa, for the Els Bellots Compensation Board ]
The layout of the land to be developed is very important for the project, as the development (of approximately 100 hectares) is located between the future eastern ring road of Terrassa, the C-58 motorway, the N-150 road between Sabadell and Terrassa, and the Las Arenas river.
In addition, the northeast end of the sector is adjacent to an electricity substation, which has led to the design of the burying and/or diversion of three high voltage lines (two owned by ENDESA and the third by REE) as well as eighteen medium voltage lines.
The project includes the construction of the first section of the future Ronda de Llevant (eastern ring road) in Terrassa, which involves the construction of 4 new viaducts and 2 underpasses along the eastern axis of the sector. In this regard, the construction of a new underpass under the C-58, using the technique of “in situ” box jacking, should be highlighted.
Finally, it should be noted that the project also provides for the adaptation of green areas within the scope of the future periurban park located to the east of the sector.
