The “Magic Badalona” project enabled the creation of a new 105,000 m2 shopping centre in the city of Badalona (Barcelona), divided into 43,000 m2 of parking space (1,200 spaces), 30,000 m2 of gross leasable area, 5,000 m2 for sports use and 27,000 m2 for common services and technical areas.
As a unique architectural element, a basketball measuring 32m in diameter was erected, located in the centre of the space.
The unique elements of the project managed by the ACTIO team include the creation of an underground passage for access to the shopping centre under the C-32 motorway and the diversion of 220 kV power lines.
It should also be noted that the works were carried out by means of intense project planning, coordinating numerous specialised contractors simultaneously in order to achieve economic and time optimisation for our client.
